We can convert any printed material into Grade 2 braille. (Single-sided Grade 1 braille is available on request.) The document is initially scanned, then converted and embossed. Our standard format is 8-1/2 by 11, embossed both sides (called interpoint) and coil-bound with or without stiff covers, stapled, 3-hole punched, or unbound. We use a 60-70 pound stock for braille that produces clear, long-lasting braille. Accuracy is assured by proofing the document thoroughly before delivery.

Price: Please call or e-mail us for a price on your document. We will want to know how many print pages and the type of original. We prefer to work from a typed or printed document (10th generation Xerox copies are not acceptable). Computer disc (ASCII or text) is very good and can save time and money. Some documents, depending on format, may incur a set-up charge.

Time: Turnaround time depends entirely on the document.

Pictures: Pictures can not be converted into braille. A text description of a picture, image or graphic can be included.
