Braille Documents |
| We can convert any printed material into Grade 2 braille. (Single-sided Grade 1 braille is available on request.) The document is initially scanned, then converted and embossed. Our standard format is 8-1/2 by 11, embossed both sides (called interpoint) and comb-bound with or without stiff covers, stapled, 3-hole punched, or unbound. We use a 60-70 pound stock for braille that produces clear, long-lasting braille. Accuracy is assured by proofing the document thoroughly before delivery.
Price: Please call or email us for a price on your document. We will want to know how many print pages and the type of original. We prefer to work from a typed or printed document (10th generation Xerox copies are not acceptable). Computer disc (ASCII or text) is very good and can save time and money. Time: Turnaround time depends entirely on the document. Pictures: Pictures can not be converted into braille. |
