Print materials in braille & large print for the blind
Easy To Read Documents
Our Basic Philosophy
A blind person should have access to all the printed information available to a sighted person.
Therefore
Our mission is to make printed materials accessible for the blind.
We do this by converting print documents to traditional braille and/or large print.
We have the necessary skills, knowledge, desire, equipment and experience to make print information available in braille and large print.
Examples
Contracts, appliance instructions, bills and statements, hotel room information, menus, legal documents, rental agreements, guide books, business cards, etc. – all should be available in braille or large print. We can and have done all these.
You send us your document (clean, typed or printed, on disc or electronically) and we return your original and the requested braille/large print copy(s), on 8-1/2 by 11 paper, both sides (if appropriate), coil bound, stapled or punched.
It's as simple as that.
Quality
If a document is put in braille it should be the best braille possible. Smudged and sloppy printing is not acceptable, neither is shoddy braille. We follow the rules for traditional braille translation and produce correct, clean, clear braille. We carefully format all braille documents rather than "dump" to a braille embosser.
